Yester Grange is the Blue Mountains premier venue for couples seeking a truly unique wedding reception. Nestled in 10 acres of totally private parkland and garden at the top of Wentworth Falls waterfall, the rolling expanse of green lawn reaches from the magnificent Victorian mansion, to touch the thousands of hectares of World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains Wilderness that lies beyond. The views are breathtaking and the atmosphere will leave your guests spellbound!

Yester Grange is a truly unique property and no amount of words or photographs can ever do it justice. It is a property which simply must be inspected to be believed.

The main house is listed by both the National Trust and the Heritage Council. It has a long history as a popular haunt of the rich and famous. The beautiful kauri timber lined ballroom - where your reception will be held - was added in the late 1800’s by Sir John See, Premier of NSW (1901- 1905). Sir John See is best remembered for female suffrage, however at the turn of the century he was better known for his enormous wealth and business acumen, and for the wonderful parties and social events hosted at Yester Grange.

Interior
The house has now been restored to its former glory and is fitted with crystal chandeliers, prized antique furniture and a multitude of unique architectural features. The decorating style is warm, light, and neutral - specifically designed to compliment your chosen colour scheme.

Each room has a romantic fireplace which adds atmosphere and warmth during the cooler months and central heating ensures that you and your guests will always remain snug and cozy on the coldest of winter days.

The Grounds
The flowing expanse of lawn, with dramatic escarpment and wilderness views, can be the perfect backdrop to your wedding ceremony and exchange of vows. The ceremony is followed by pre-reception canapés and drinks. If the weather is inclement, the ceremony can be conducted on one of Yester’s wide verandahs - or in the rustic charm of the old wine cellar.

Ballroom Capacity
Up to 70 guests for a sit-down meal and up to 120 for a cocktail style reception.

Formal Sit-Down Reception
Our all inclusive package for a formal sit-down wedding reception includes:

· use of the gardens for the ceremony if desired
· ½ hour service of canapés
· 3 course alternate serve menu (bridal table receives their choice of dishes)
· 4 hour beverage package (beer, wine, champagne, and soft drinks)*
· Freshly brewed tea and coffee

Formal Wedding Reception Package is $148 per person based on a minimum of 60 guests.

Total time allowed is 5 hours from arrival to departure. Please note that a surcharge of 10% applies on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Cocktail Style Reception
Our all inclusive package for a cocktail style reception includes:

· use of the gardens for the ceremony if desired
· 3 hours service of canapés and hors d'oeuvres
· 3 hour beverage package (beer, wine, champagne, and soft drinks)*
· Freshly brewed tea and coffee

Cocktail Party Reception Package is $113 per person based on a minimum of 78 guests.

Total Time allowed is 3½ hours from arrival to departure. Please note that a surcharge of 10% applies on Sundays and Public Holidays.

* Please note that Yester Grange is required to comply with NSW Government Regulations concerning the responsible service of alcohol.

Photo Opportunities
The photo opportunities at Yester Grange are endless. Outside there are the tree-lined carriageways (illuminated by sparkling fairy lights at night), century old dry stone walls, spectacular exotic gardens and a breathtaking natural backdrop of sandstone escarpments and forest. Inside the house there is an array of locations designed to challenge the most imaginative photographer! The spectacular fireplaces, grand central hallway, leadlight and stained glass doors are always favourites!

We can recommend a variety of service providers to meet your every need. Florists, photographers, cake suppliers, entertainers, printers, videographers, car and coach hire are all available locally.

Accommodation
We are able to arrange limited overnight cottage style accommodation onsite and can recommend a variety of off-site accommodation options to suit your requirements.

Yester Grange is not open to the public, and inspections are strictly by appointment only. Please phone to arrange a mutually convenient time for us to show you around the property and to discuss menu selections and arrangements for your special day.
